The song was released as a single in Europe and Australia.

In Modern Ballroom and Latin American dancing circles it is a track that is often used during social dancing as well as competitions. It is played for the dance called the Rhumba. Liberian Girl has an earthy feel to it… one that really gets you moving. It pulsates through your whole body when you are on the dance floor.
